This work expresses the life cycle of living things on the planet.
Trees that grow in the forest receive energy from the soil, flowers bloom and leaves sprout, and the trees eventually die. However, the dead leaves also provide new energy for the soil and grow other trees.
The Japanese children’s story “Gon”, This story is about the life of a little fox called Gon. The fox provides chestnuts to a huntsman to help his life. Humans live not only with humans, but make relationships with many creatures on the earth. People help us and we may help others in society. We need to take care of each other.
Someone walking next to you may be your friend or may be a stranger. Regardless, we should treat one another with kindness. If everyone is feeling this way, society will be more peaceful.
And, this work expresses our planet which has been formed by the great sea and land. Visitors feel the preciousness of life by looking at the brightness of the “soul-light” on the branches. When life returns to the sea, we can see all life is connected and visitors will realize what needs to be cherished.
